Now this is not just about sprinkles and pale mint accents, although I love you if you do that. But I will mostly be enlightening y'all on how fabulous "important, serious, therefore plain and adulty" things like knives, cookers (pots, whatever else) can be!
I'm not sure what store can ever do this better than Urban outfitters, but I might do more research at the end of this, so....

Wait - wait so these are ceramic measuring spoons?? Like I could've recognized Ellie Goulding as she was wearing Dumbledore's beard, an Invisibility Cloak on top - oh and a princess gown before I could've spotted the undercover objective of these cleverly adorned spoons. Overdid it? I certainly always do.
Not much of a measuring object but you guys know how we gals are about our mason jars. They're just.....great candles. And they remind us of candles. Further more.....candles. Need I say more? And that tray comes in perfect just to add that authentic feel of "I'm in a kitchen!"
I love how Urban Outfitters has a thing with mason jars because I totally feel it too. Who else has been contaged with the magic?

Anything rose gold on its own IS a statement. HELLO? Rose. Gold. K? K.
Oh. Oh really? Wow.
Were these just so breathtaking you missed the pin as well?
I guess these can count for measuring time? Too cute not to mention.
We can all use a 4-cup measurer, especially if it looks as delightful as this Molly Hatch one!
This is the kind of measuring spoon set you'd find in Net-A-Porter if they'd have a home section (they should totally have one).
And I guess, sadly, that was all for measuring tools - chic ones. Now I'd really like to get into lighting, and who knew that also could be so intricate and perfect - I wasn't planning on this being part of the post. However, as my research came to take 4 hours (gloriously spent), here are some top recommendations ^_^ :
Okay first of all Geometric Lighting? Why have I not known about this?!?! Like I have to admit things like that occur to me a couple times a day, since I am technically clinically obsessed....with too many things.

HAVE YOU NOTICED HOW IT'S CALLED A PENDANT? How cute! So the wall is really wearing a necklace. But the only thing is, if you switch the light on and try to adore the geo, will your eyes hurt? Like I don't know. We should do a serial inquireation before proceeding to checkout.
I guess this could be a very modest chandelier.
My mom always needs something like this next to her cutting board, especially since the counter she cuts on is right next to the clear slide-door leading to the backyard, and at night the darkness really accentuates shadows and gloomies.
Speaking of cutting boards:

Urban Outfitters has got to be kidding me. This is utterly inexcusable. I am deeply overwhelmed. I actually ordered two of this item, one for me, when I learn how to successfully chop a carrot, and one for my amazing chef mom.
This can be a very sophisticated alternative to the General Store Lamp above. But I think I'd take the former, simply for it belonging to this beautiful metallic, almost wood-like base, and plus I have almost nothing round in my house anymore as everything is sharp-edged and geometrical (not counting lights cause that's was a total shocker to me).
Ummm.....Help? We only have two kitchens!!! I can't exactly end up with a "masterpiece" if I just hang around statement lights here and there. There's a reason why something is a statement. You guys tell me in the comments which two you like best.
But I just have one last one (you know, to help you out by never allowing you to ever under any circumstance make up your mind).

Eff. Yeah. Rose. Gold
So we've got some interior points checked off. I believe it's time for little artifacts or things lying around.... still in the kitchen.
Books are so important if you're my family. We have 16 Arabic cookbooks (my maternal grandma being an Egyptian raised and grown in France - she's a ballet teacher, fabulous, I know, and my maternal grandfather is a Lebanese-born Kuwait-raised beautiful man, my paternal grandparents Iraqi, and moi a sort of mix-jumbled Americano), 2 English cookbooks (as in bought form London), and a Chinese one, for the heck of it. But when I own somewhere I'll probably be keeping these:

Since that's most likely why I'm in the kitchen in the first place. I can't cook for my life. But I sure can beauty!
Shelves and bookends are as important as the books they hold
OMG I'm so tired of this post, why is it still not done?
Let's get through it. Or nah. How about mugs and cute things next post? The Girly Kitchen 2? I hope you guys appreciate all the hard work I've done to collect all these graphics, thier info, and now I have to edit :(
Sorry for this lame spirit but you'll only understand if you're a blogger. So bye! xoxo, Aristocat
