You already know. Because I can finally be that girl who can pull off a reptile skin. Thanks to Brahmin!
Okay, I am always guilty of not being an open-minded-spreeing-on-crocodile-jackets-and-"sophisticated"-snakey-heels kind of person. They sort of seem part of the too-high-end range, like these beautifully-awkward-and-kitsch-like Dior heels.
Why? Because eternal crackles and creative shades of puke don't rep my typical white-and-gold-Greek-Goddess/chic-LBD-Audrey-Hepburn vibe.
However, yesterday's mail contained a miracle, which was the October issue of blessed Vogue, and in it, the specific miracle that will drastically change my disability to shine throughout the fashion community, reptilitiosly, was the Brahmin ad. Let me just say, they're always quite something to look at. They would emphasize this classy silhouette of like a round girly skirt and sometimes funky jackets, or vintage pants and that adorable halter tie. Except everything was dark and almost unnoticeable, but the handbag. They always photographed the handbag in a way where it was the only object on the paper with color elements so you could just take in and appreciate the bag's design.
This particular bag, though, means so much to me, as it does model the intricacy of Floral On Black (a print suitable for fall and summer, and for all my moody moods). Also, my LIFE is literally accented with gold gold gold gold - whether it be rose, white, coppery, yellow, or even bronze bronze, not gold. So there I am, standing in Metallic Island, twisting the color wheel with my pearl-white manicured fingers...If that's another way to say typing furiously in a luxuriously furry bed, with my hair tangled all around me in whirlwinds, similar to some of these FW13 model's bedhead-chic :)
Anyway, I really can't wait to, er, sport, this bag at a big party, and fill it up with items I'll post about later! And caution; this is to be worn along with chiffon and yet more light gold accessoires, because I can't handle myself. Also, platform nude heels, or even some black lacy flats related to Chanel's would be memorable. Pump it up with an opaque white blazer, cropped and boxy, but fitted into a feminine profile - and why does this outfit scream out Sleek High Ponytail to me?
Byeeeeee <3 xoxoxoxo from a crazy highschooler's deep depths of her heart, and as I read that out loud, I begin to feel more and more convinced of my mental condition. Oh don't worry, its made-up, too!
