I've realized this year's Official Fall It Color is Camel. Whether on suede jackets, wool, pants, shoes, bags - especially bags, or anything you can wear. As you see above, I did chose a few autumn-appropriate tones, like crème in alternative of a bright opaque white for last summer, black instead of, well, black for the other seasons, because where can you not wear black? Deep berries and burgundies, nudes of all size and shape - as in, soft and crèmey, lush peachy, pink-tinted, whatevs...And then I guess we have a category of gold and brown for, like, ornaments (lol just imagined a freaky blond lady "decorated" with red and green little spheres, omg, what goes on in my mind). Anyway, these are all really obvious, but what I really enjoyed from all the "vintage twists," (<--said other fashion sites) was the new Camel (which, I believe, I can also consider a "nude"). How can I actually look good in that without being famous?
Okay, obviously these two are The Legit Meaning Of Fame, but we can totally use a tactic or two from their photo. E.g. the one over on the left (trust me I tried every way to find her name so I can sound ultra-on-top-of-my-game), she's got a blush stiletto, no doubt, embellished in flattering kitsch and that Oh-So-Old-Movie point to the toe. We can work with that. But that yellow-heel-with-basically-all-camel has to go. At least for me. White; not all that flattering on people who don't "have-it-all-slim". Black; if its a good trouser and a tight lightweight cropped (also black) sweater under the camel jacket, then yes, that gives the chicer impressions. Red; I know we all agree that deeper, gloomier is the go for fall (at least this year, 'cause if your -hopefully- reading this like in 2016, don't laugh). However, I think for this one autumn shade, we'll actually tone it UP with a bright red lipstick, a bright red heel and/or a bright red bag. And when choosing the tint, think Taylor Sift Red. Wrap up with a dark green snood of fluff (hahaha, see what I did there?) and you're all good. But if you'd like, a pastel blouse of any shade will serve you greatly, and with this, abide by the rules of spring: dewy lavender, a mint of fresh green or soft blue, or whatever makes you happy! Now. Pink; this can get soooo tricky. You don't want to give off that mismatched aura, or a fashion catastrophe. Try, as I pointed out before, blushes, light pink nudes, anything on the less side. Not deep berries for this. Just deep berries for purple or red in the fall. I think a prominent midnight blue, pink-tinted creme, and camel sound like a delicious, covet-worthy combo.
Just fuchsia, I think, is more on the millionaire princess side. I want to sound practical here.
So how about prints?

Mix and Match Prints (like neutral, faded cheetah & bold black-and-white-stripes) or the other option: optical-illusion-pinstriped lines going downwards on pants with a sheer blouse of humongous but muted stripes (black and white), where each line's the width of your hand? Or loud leopard with a soft crème fur somewhere in your outfit, just to keep that animal element?
With Camel, these could all work, but careful balancing them out. As I did state, a louder piece with a shy piece, but place your confident boasting prints/shades where you are most confident in your body; flatter yourself. Boast about your flat stomach/long lean legs/smooth flawless neck (with a teensy lil georgette scarf). Anything you're proud of...accomplishing, if you didn't already have it.
Textures. You don't have to worry lots about this part. Chiffon layered with wools are just perfect for this season's whether and style.
Pleats and Leathers: what we really need for adding that French element. Frills, fringes, ruffles, anything along the lines: you might want to stay away from, unless you really work it out by adding a bit of edge (ooohh scary, I know). Not a choker or anything, just more leather, and see that cute quilted handbag you have in your closet (probably, since you read this type of blog)...attach it to a chunky silver chain (which have been All The Rage for necklaces recently), and once someone compliments you, be like, "Thanks, I Made It" <--that's a DIY blog's name, right there.
Anyway girls, hope I helped, thanks sooooo munchie for stopping by, love ya!
